Host to a major rugby league club of the district, the site was in need of a concept master plan to obtain funding for park improvements. The design brings the quality of the park in line with expectations of the local community and includes retrofitting of upgrades to an existing amenities building, spectator seating, site wide passive recreation facilities, mountain bike trail and formalised car parking.

Working collaboratively with a local architect, concept designs were produced for the retrofitting of roof and spectator deck to the existing amenities building. Materiality and architectural form offers a contemporary solution to create a welcoming team and visitor facility.

Spectator terracing and accessible pathway overcame challenging levels between car park and pitch side.
